GroundTRUTH welcomes inquiries from prospective MASc and PhD students and postdoctoral fellows. Projects may include fieldwork, sensors, laboratory testing, modelling or data analysis.

Graduate students

Openings vary by term and available funding. Before getting in touch, review the application guidance below, then visit Dr. Helen Stopps’s TMU faculty profile for contact information. Use [Prospective student] in the subject line. Please include:

• the degree and start term you are considering;
• your CV and unofficial transcripts.

Also include a brief note, up to 300 words in total, answering:

1. What research problem or question interests you, and what motivates that interest?
2. How does the research you hope to pursue connect with GroundTRUTH’s research programme or current projects?
3. What relevant experience, skills or perspectives would you bring, and what would you like to learn?

You do not need a settled thesis topic or a full research proposal.
